Apply TCA with 4 by 4 pad or 4 by 4 gauze. TCA is applied in coats(layers).
Apply TCA Peel until desired end point( called frosting).
End points( degree of frosting) are: translucent white frost with visible pink skin, faint even white frost, medium even white frost, opaque/solid even white frost.
Do not neutralize or rinse with water. Attempting to neutralize a TCA peel is improper technique and comes from misguided training.

TCA Peels are applied in coats or layers until the desired end point is reached. There are no set number of coats or layers, but rather visual end points that must be looked for. Failure to reach the desired end point, will not produce the best result.
Many aesthetic professionals are told how many coats to use with a particular peel and do not get the results that they should be expecting. One of the major reasons is that they were not taught or know about end points. One needs to apply as many coats as needed to reach the desired end point. One person's skin may reach an end-point of faint white frost in 2 coats, while another person's skin reaches end-point of faint white frost in 6 coats. Each skin will respond differently and may require more coats and/or a higher concentration of the peel.
The appearance of "frosting" on the skin is indication of what has already happened- called end point. The frosting that we see is not what is happening at that specific moment, but rather what has already occurred.
